Drake enjoyed his very first cookie ice cream sandwich this weekend.
He was so proud to be able to hold it all by himself!!
So that brings me a question
Do you mind when your kids get dirty or messy?
I could care less, I always have an extra outfit with me and just change him if he gets dirty enough. The way I look at it is kids are only little once and they should have as much fun as possible even if it means getting crazy messy!
I say if they're clean then it hasn't been a fun enough day!

I don't mind at all; Jackson always seems to be a mess. I just hate when things stain.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are at the Hy-Vee Tri...did Ben compete? I'm about 98% sure he was sitting on bus right next to us on Sunday AM. It was 5:15 in the morning and I didn't want to make a fool out of myself by asking. If it wasn't him, he has a twin out there!
Steph-Yes, Ben did the bike portion of the team tri. He did the whole thing 2 years ago. Did you do the whole thing?!? That is so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI can't stand my kids getting messy..BUT... like you said, they are only young for so long then they are messy teens! lol
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how laid back you are! You rock!
ReplyDeleteI don't care at all when we're at home. But if we are out, I would need to have an extra set of clothes to not be bothered.
ReplyDeleteLet's not get carried away...I just did the bike portion for a relay.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he is loving the ice cream! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if my kiddo gets dirty. I mean, he's only this little once, and I'm not going to make him spend it changing clothes. I always have another change of clothes in the trunk of my car, so why bother him. Most of the time, since if we go out, it's only to a park or somewhere for him, I just let him go in his diaper. He likes being naked (or mostly) anyway.
We're all about the mess at our house!
ReplyDeleteHi from SITS!
