Making Special Occasions Beautiful

The end of July and beginning  of August is a really busy and special time for our family. On July 23rd Ben and I will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary followed by my 30th birthday on July 24th and Drake's 4th birthday on August 1st. We love to throw a party and have several parties in the works for our upcoming events.



There are 2 things that are priorities to me when I am planning a party; the 1st being the invitations and the 2nd being the cake. I think both of those things have the ability to set the tone for the whole party.  I tend to focus the majority of my party budget on these two items and think of it as money well spent.

With all of our special occasions coming up I started browsing the different invitation designs at Minted.com and loved what I saw.

My husband is throwing me a little get together for my 30th and I love the simple and clean look of this invitation.



 

Drake has requested a Superhero birthday party and I think this invitation fits the occasion perfectly.



 

Minted.com is the kind of website that you go to look for a specific item but get lost in the beautiful designs and pretty soon you find yourself looking at birth announcements even though you have no plans for a new baby in the near future.

 



 

I mean seriously....these announcements make me smile (ok, and maybe want to bookmark the page for future reference) with the pure sweetness and beauty the cards capture.
